how do i get better once i've had the best.

totally sucks to be sick man, honestly.

i'm stuck at home doing nothing except sleep,

which caused my neck to turn stiff for abit,

so here i am using the computer.

and being stuck at home really sucks.

and i'm supposed to be studying for physics which i would gladly do,

except that i'm such a smart ass,

I FORGOT TO BRING BACK ANYTHING PHYSICS RELATED.

honestly, how smart can i be. :(

well anyway,

i hope i don't miss school tomorrow!

physics test, though i can't study, but oh well.

or i should probably don't go.

another day to rest..

hmm, and study too.

i kinda miss choir practices now, mondays and fridays are super free, but i still miss choir.

i can't believe syf is actually long over, zomg.

anyway, on friday went shopping and all with deborah.

i managed to buy a high-waisted skirt from far east and deborah got a F21 top.

like whoa, finally we both buy something!

and trying on clothes with uniform isn't easy man, honestly.

i took like fifteen mins just to try on a skirt.

oh well, i had fun and thanks alot deborah. :D

come to think of it, the skirt is practically the only thing i bought this entire year on a trip out with friends.

how pathetic can i get.

actually, far east is brimming with stuff waiting to be found.

especially the higher floors.

less ah-lian stuff. :D

and hello, dresses for fifteen bucks?

SO tempting okay, too bad i only had enough to buy one thing.

the dress was nice though! :D

oh man, should i hope that i can't go school tomorrow or should i hope i'm well enough to go?

i need more time for physics, but i hate missing school.

and i wanna go mustafa with my chem/hanoi group!

we're planning to go there and explore + buy the gifts needed for hanoi trip.

zomg, i can't miss anything.

sigh.

i hate missing chapel too, dang.

i just realised how much i'll miss school, oh man.

and i'm in dire need of money to shop.

getting bored of my clothes.

and i hope the 3E people going hanoi will go out to get our mr men and little miss shirts!

hanoi trip is in about 10 days!
how fast eh, should be 10 days.
zomg, but i wish it was longer.
the junk boat stay sounds super fun, haha!
and the hotel rooms look really nice too, sweet.

and i think i totally have a dented head.
some idiots were playing 'catching' with a bloody heavy pencil case.
i knew it would hit me, but i didn't expect it to be my head?

the bloody pencil was seriously so hard and heavy, it left a huge impact.

anyway had an awesome dinner at cafe swiss at swissotel the stamford.

ate till i was hyper full and had to loosen my belt countless times!

HAHAHA, rubber tummy i have. :O

fondue and all was totally awesome,

so was the rosti and all the food!

well, going out to shop tomorrow!

can't wait.

hopefully i can watch movies too. :)

most importantly it was a GwH performance for us.

i'm happy to say that Fairfield Methodist Choir has obtained at SYF 2009,

GOLD! gold gold gold! :)

though there were screams for three seconds and tears later,

but everyone had fun, we gave it our all, sung our best, and everyone's really proud of us.

I'm just really happy we maintained our standard, and though we didn't get GwH,

but like the teachers, mrs lim, P & VP said,

its our best, we moved and touched people.

we made people cry(probably tear la) cos of our 3rd song,

and our volume didn't go down much.

i believe all these should be the things we've to be happy and proud of!

its my first and last SYF ever, but i totally enjoyed the experience and i'm glad my first and last SYF was a good one, though we could have gotten better.

the whole award thing is just a namesake, as long as deep inside we know we did want it, we showed it, we sung out, we gave everything and left it all up to God,

gold is really something we should totally be proud of!

so don't be upset anymore, whoever it is!

anyway, we all kinda suspect something, but shan't talk about it.

alot of stuff could have affected our grade, but oh well!

its a GOLD.

and i was so worried we would drop standard!

but we made everyone proud, i know we did. :)

well, enough of the whole results thing.

shall talk about today in detail!

so, met deborah and joel woon & joel lim at school, and went fusionopolis.

ate toast for breakfast, and got starbucks (JAVA CHIP!) for all of us, then went back to school.

and ALOT of people drank my drink, like, more than 5?

hahhaa, heard a few stuff about parade today.

i'm glad i got to 'pon' school today though!

well,

sopranos got together for awhile to run through some things,

got short 'briefing' by mrs lim and teachers,

then went up PA2 to put our stuff, warm up, rehearse, split for combined sectionals, etc.

lunch later, then rushed to indoor sports hall to change and do makeup.

and whoa, RYMD had like the whole toilet to ourselves?

went down for phototaking, and it was hell fun!

most of the girls did the arabic thingy with our gowns,

but the guys behind kept pushing and i totally hit my leg!

hurt abit but the pain went away after awhile.

went back up to PA1, went through all 3 songs with mr yong,

and that's when we were hyper, thanks to phototaking!

sung our bestest bestest most energetic the first time we entered the room,

but slowly died down.

left school at like 320+?

reached hell fast.

stood around for pretty long, then went to the holding room.

whoa, damn nice, but oh well.

then waited outside the hall for hell long, and then the sec fours started doing stupid facial things,

pretty cool though!

and then, suddenly, we had to go in.

hell nervous and kept shivering and shaking during the entire time,

and cantemus was sharp, according to seniors and mr yong.

hana was the best though, heard some seniors teared or cried, whichever.

which made me feel really happy, cos we did our magical thing and all.

wasn't lost, thankfully. :)

but well,

went for break,

and waited super long for results!

congrats to everyone who are happy about their results and all.

dunman got Gwh, the ONLY choir today.

guess its the limit thing or whatever.

well,

went to change and all after results,

met the guys and everyone else at fullerton hotel,

and went mad taking pictures of the beautiful sunset and all.

and us girls walked, then threw our bags down (read: allison, faith, belda, celeste, michelle, deborah, rebecca, yeewei, me) and took BEAUTIFUL shots with the sunset behind us.

totally beautiful, its hell amazing.

hope deborah posts the picture up soon, total ownage.

all you can see is dark figures in mid air and the orange sky behind.

walked really long to central with the guys: joels, jeremy, lincoln, joshua, eugene, ian, shaun (should be that's all) and ate at yoshinoya and bought milk tea which i drained 1/2 even before ordering food?

and something really horrible suddenly happened.

i was totally preoccupied that i didn't realise, neither did anyone,

but anyway, please cheer up and pray about it alright!

we're worried for you!

well, after dinner, went out to like the river there and went high and started crapping around in public.

very embarrassing, but no one cared.

laughed like crazy, like on drugs or something.

people stared but we didn't care.

well, finally settled down after a long while, then everyone except me, deborah and ian left.

then we three went to grab a drink, and got an awesome view of clarke quay.

really beautiful.

(at night is really the best time to go out man!)

MRT-ed home and was like the first to get home?!

my family went to dempsey (without me, sadly) to celebrate my sister's graduation.

sad i missed her convocation today.

well, sorry for burning your eyes.

if i did, well, hahhaa, sorry.

alright, i better sleep!

my neck is getting very stiff, can't stand it.

and i know i'm not in any 'position' to say this but anyway,

CHOIR,

i'm VERY VERY proud of everyone who put in effort and time to make sure we got what we wanted or whatever.

whether you're really happy or disappointed, don't be cos we've done great.

i feel a teeny bit disappointed we didn't have the extra 2 words added onto our award,

but its really God's grace we obtained what we did earlier on.

hope everyone has a heart for choir and continue singing your best,

cos time flies super fast.

i seriously love the choir alot.

Oh sheesh, THREE FREAKING MORE DAYS!

yes, to freaking SYF.

most performing arts are long done with theirs,

except guitar which will be the last on 27th.

total tsk man, three days is very little.

and some more, i've to rest my throat, so no singing till friday i guess.

i'm all prepared to lose my voice after syf.

totally, its worth it if we get GWH.

or gold is fine, but GWH is a total bonus.

we're that standard, its whether we want to show it or not.

aaron, ada, adriel and kenneth came over for chem project today.

super fun, noisy but the guys were slacking.

really regret letting kenneth bring his laptop, but oh well.

totally saw this super explicit scene in GTA! like zomg,

we all were hell disgusted and 'ew-ing' the whole time, shielding our melting eyes.

its that bad, super sick!

its just animation, but wth. totally, gosh.

bet you those animators had like done all that before in real life.

too real, i think.

anyway the guys were like slacking, watching stuff.

made them go find pictures and reserch abit though!

and we need a bigger vanguard sheet, and our poster ain't attractive nor whatever.

hope the photos part pulls our marks up!

well, today was also fun cos we found out a hell lot of secrets from kenneth.

the guys were like fighting over his phone and letter from ______.

like, whoa!

super funny.

then me and ada locked ourselves in the room and started ____________.

and then adriel went to take the ______ and locked himself in the toilet,

and aaron later took the ______ from me and went to the hall and started _________.

fill in the blanks yourself, but i guess you've a rough idea.

all i can say is, i'm glad i ain't a guy! :D

anyway, today's learning journey to SAF stagmont camp was FUN.

pretty cool, no one dared to go near the camouflaged guy.

looked scary, and the gun was super heavy!

not really, but quite for something that size.

and the 'second life' conferencing calls, humanoid, CS-like training game and some battleship game were pretty cool, though confusing.

the CS-like game was ownage, kept friendly firing!

i never once got to the tower at all, sigh.

oh well, it was fun to bond with like the rest. :)

and, TAI AILIN, I MISS YOU!

can't believe you did lab on pig's eyeball.

if one day my piglet's eye goes missing, i know who to find! :)

its just not the same anymore, it really isn't.

gosh, i really don't know what's going on.

everything's screwed up to the max.

i don't even know who's fault it is.

ytd had much needed fun with deborah, studying at KAP, singing stupid kiddo songs while walking, eating ice cream and playing i-spy.

thanks alot for yesterday. :)

well, today saw ailin at alexandra village!!!!!!

she totally scared me by slapping me real hard on my shoulder and calling my name.

like, whoa.

miss you loads ailin, i do i do.

got so much to tell you.

went sheng shiong after that, and bought loads of stuff.

oreos, prawns, what have you.

gonna bring oreos on tuesday.

tempted to buy the 10 pack hello panda, but oh well.

and stupid prawns poked through the plastic bag and totally jabbed into my calf.

now i'm so scared i'll get infected so i put plaster, haha!

oh well, gotta go lace up my shoes.

and deal whatever's going on.

life is hell screwed up for me at this moment.

i can only hope it gets better, really.

i don't want anything to happen again.

i already want to cry.

i got very very freaked out, seriously.
i felt hell scared.

what a perfect ending to an imperfect day.

Alright, so today was the usual.

church (super long! got baptism and holy communion), lunch, a spot of shopping and home.

totally want that nike shoulder bag.

eighty plus bucks though.

but my parents haven't gotten me my birthday present, teehee.

sorry for not updating anyway, been very busy!

proud to say i've got a GOLD for napfa this year!

especially proud of my 2.4km run and standing broad jump.

zomg, like total records.

2.4 was super fast for me, 14:31 if i'm not wrong!

laugh all you want but its hell fast for me.

i thought i hit about 15 mins already okay! :(

SBJ was 172, total record for me.

if this keeps up, next year will be totally awesome for a horrible, unfit person like me.

anyway,

I WANNA GO SHOPPING BADLY.

seriously!

i wish i had like won cash.

cold, hard cash.

and i'll take off to orchard and wherever to shop and shop and eat and drink STARBUCKS!

oh man, tempting.

school tomorrow, shall sleep early.

hopefully i do get to shop!

even before SYF, so if anything bad happens, at least my mood won't be killed.

hopefully a really great miracle happens.

with just 12 days left,

all i can do is pray and sing the best i can.

we can't just drop like shit.
