Can i have this dance?
I wish this moment was ours to own it, and that it would never leave.

decadence

ALOHA! I'm Michelle, 15 going on SWEET 16 5th February. I'm not a nerd though i'm in a triple science class, cross my heart. The Fairfield Choir is the best opportunity i ever got, and it'll rock your socks off. Starbucks is totally awesome and kicks ass! I've a penchant for pink, i'm mad about Choir Clique and crazy over God.:)

I'M BACK FROM CAMP!
:D

whoa,
it was seriously 100000% fun!
it's a little better than last year,
but both are still as great.
seriously!

okay,
since i've not much time and i don't want to just throw this whole chunk of words at one shot (go see deborah's blog for proof),
i shall just do day one and finish the rest sometime tomorrow or sunday.
hopefully before school re-opens,
cos my dad keeps telling me he's gonna pull out the power plug cos i'm simply glued to the com.
ah whatever.
:D

day one: wednesday, 18th june 2008

assembled in school around 745,
put down our bags in PA1 then went down to foyer.
bused to anderson secondary for the choir exchange workshop.
practised much much more on adieu,
and had combine sectionals with our own school.
was really screwed up till mrs on came in.
whoa,
i'm really grateful and impressed by her,
and i think the rest of the choir too.
after all,
i've never seen a pregnant woman conduct a choir with so much,
energy.
:/
it was damn scary,
and she would hop sometimes!
whoa,
shocker.
:D

well,
we did exsulate justi (axe-su-ta-teh yoos-sti) quite a few times,
and miss lim came in for awhile to see how we were doing.
had a bit of a lecture from her,
but anyway,
mrs on made us close our eyes and sing adieu.
i really felt all the emotions in the room,
and we were just listening and following each other,
cos obviously we can't see any conducting.
we did that twice,
and actually the choir wanted more of that.
cos we could realy feel the song,
and well,
it sounded better!
:)
and that was the ONLY song i dared to sing the high notes.
i managed to reach,
somehow.

anyway,
i learnt quite abit more about the support thingy.
cos till now,
i'm still abit blur la,
but now better.
:D

had a few more practices before heading to the hall for the mini competition.
xinmin was first,
and i thought it was okay.
forgot their own piece's title,
but i think it was just okay.
we were next,
and ALOT of us thought we screwed up.
exsulate justi was better i thought,
but turned out not to be.
more on that later!

chung cheng's adieu was not bad,
only SIX guys leh!
mostly sec ones.
wah lao!
anyway,
their daemon was niceeee!
i like the song,
though it's quite short,
but it was damn drama man.
like,
whoa.
:)

anderson was last,
their tenors were damn good at high notes,
so adieu for them was okay.
their other song was totally off.
like,
seriously.
majors and minors everywhere,
and alot of us thought it was meant to be.
:

anyway,
when it was time to announce the ranks,
we were all thinking we would be last,
since our song was quite screwed up la.
but you know what,

OUR PERFORMANCE GOT US FIRST!

and i'm not even kidding.
all of the comments were like what,
oh, adieu was the best, dadadadadad.
i was like,
really really shocked!
:/
but anyway,
exsulate justi was screwed,
according to the conductors.
BUT THEY SAID THE SONG WE LEARNT IN TWO DAYS WAS THE BEST AMONG ALL.
like akjebfksnfdkbskebjkjbe!
seriously crash course.
two days,
we memorised, learnt and performed the song.
and it's really nice too!
though it's about saying bye to a dying person and finally she dies.
:/
but other than that,
it's really a super great song and well,
go listen to it yeah!
:)

anyway,
the whole winning the mini competition meant so much to each one of us,
cos it has been long since we had such a big encouragement,
and it really lifted our spirits!

miss lim came to us later on,
and she even praised us.
could tell she was really happy we tried our bestest and well,
showed to everyone fairfield's still the best! :D
abit ego la,
but it's kinda true.
:D

went down to wait for the bus,
and we ended up sitting around playing stupid games and all that.
waited for almost an hour and a half before the bus came,
and we were all dead tired!
went for a bath,
went down for dinner,
then watched grease,
half of it.
:

went onto the murder mystery game,
and went around.
it was super tiring la!
anyway,
my group (D, which is group 7 & 8) got the correct answer!
:)
hehehe,
murder was michelle (NOT me, eugene's sister) and she used a PIPE to kill celeste.
whoa,
damn stupid.
but it was fun!
and my group quite blur.
:D
hehehe.

and well,
that's when our (group 8!) lucky streak continued.
more on that in next posts.
:)

went to sleep after playing abit,
and i was busy writing stuff in my bag cos i shone the torchlight in my crumpler.
hahahaa,
rebecca and deborah thought i was mad.
:D

ah well,
that was practically all about day one.
:D

anyway,
there was night cycling last night!
and now my butt, legs, back and hands ALL ache.
:(
my dad can go pinch my arm somemore,
then it was SUPER pain cos the muscle's so tensed up.
:S
sigh!

woke up this morning to find this cut on my toe.
it was on the right side of my third toe,
so it rubbed against the fourth toe.
whoa,
DAMN pain.
i put plaster also pain.
sian.
:(

ah well,
shall not crap further.
this post probably took you 3-4 scrolls of the mouse.
:)
more tomorrow/sunday!
have to sleep soon anyway,
history on tomorrow.
SIGH!
clothes all dirty.
wth.
still got one fbt left,
thank goodness.

alrighty,
goodnight.
and hope that the song was nice to you if you went to listen to it.
oh,
must up the volume okay.
the song starts quite early,
and it's soft.
:D

I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
